Mary Shansi (December 22, 1985) was born in Chicago, Illinois. Currently residing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Most of her raising was brought up by her mother. Her brother, Joe Shansi, is a professional poker player who also lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Joe decided to move his family to Florida for his career and thought that Mary had a great opportunity to be discovered in Florida.
